Blue Too & the baby brontosaurs

Posted on November 16, 2019November 16, 2019

The Running Raptor, Blue Too (also), will receive Gold Rush Metallic for her underside and Hammered Light Blue for her top areas. The baby brontosaurs, Arlo, Libby & Kristen Gloss Warm Yellow and Spring Green for the main colors like their parents Gary, Cindy and Uncle Stuart. I started with them on their sides for the Gold Rush Metallic and Warm Yellow. Up right to apply the Hammered Light Blue and Spring Green. I use a piece of cardboard to help block any breeze and to reduce over spray. As always, Artists brushes allow for touchups and creating a natural blending later.

Hammer Brown will take care of Blue Too’s Claws. Gloss Berry is the color of choice for the inside of the baby brontosaur’s mouths. Blue tape and recycled plastic bags assist with masking off the areas I want to protect. Even so I will have some touchups with the baby brontosaur’s heads where remarkably some of the Gloss Berry managed to sneak past the masking. The artist brushes will assist with this task as well.
