Triceratops Eyes are Watching You

We left with the Triceratops receiving Hammered Copper Accents on their Horns, Shield Tips, Eye Brows & Eye Lashes.  The above gives you a closeup of those Wonderful Lashes.  More correctly described as “Contoured Feathers with No Barbs”.  After masking off all the areas around the Triceratops Beaks, Hammered Grey was applied.  Cobalt Blue Metallic…

The “Magic Wand” tinted Primer cured and it’s time for the major colors.  The darker shade of Violet – “Unbelievable” was applied to Top areas of Paul & Christopher, while Teresa will receive only accents of this color.  As I previously mentioned, I’m sticking with the bird concept where the males have a brighter color…

Starting the New Year Bright

The Triceratops were in desperate need of a makeover.  Teresa had never been finished and Paul’s & Christopher’s paint designs were completed in 2016.  After some consulting with the Paint Specialist at the Local Home Improvement Center, I’m using brush on materials.  Zinsser Cover Stain Primer which they tinted to match The Magic Wand Semi-Gloss…
